Mobile sentry gun

an idea ~StriderTheHedgeHog to me so all this is his

its basically a mobile sentry gun that can guard a small area and instead of just sitting there waiting for targets it roams that small area guarding it and when in danger it hides itself and attacks said one putting it in danger. The sentry targets enemies by means of a optical and motion tracking system, it has an advanced counter balancing system that allows it to shoot straight while firing its gun. its light weight and very effective but not very well protected. it doesnt have much armor on it since it has to be lightweight but then again these cheap sentries are only meant to protect long enough till back up arrives.
